Many components, especially those in the electronic industry, are getting smaller and smaller.  The straightener, type MR, is following this trend. In spite of its miniature design, it was possible to construct a solid bearing because of the cartridge technology.  This, in conjunction with an eccentric adjustment system of the individual straightening rollers, was developed with the ability to master high forces without shortening the life span of the bearings in spite of its small size.

The MR model is built in the German tradition of high quality. This straightener suits a wide variety of applications and is available in single, double or more planes with an easily added connection base plate. This high quality and robust design is suited for material diameters from nearly 0mm to .9mm OD in three different sizes. The MR model has the most common set up with one bank of rolls on one side of the material fixed while the rolls on the other side are adjustable for the best straightening results. The MR model is available in 5 and 7 rolls per unit in odd increments. It is most commonly used in wire applications but also can be used for tubing, cable and other materials.
