Description
The ERS H roll straighteners offer very high straightening forces and have been developed preferably for high strength process materials with a diameter or cross-sectional height of between 5.0 mm and 30.0 mm in four different sizes. The suffix H following the familiar product designation ERS stands for the feature of a specific hydraulic system for quick opening. An adjustment force of a few Newtons applied manually by the operating personnel is converted into an adjusting force of up to 300 kN by the hydraulic system.
This straightener suits a wide variety of applications and is available in single, double or more planes with mounting holes provided for easy installation and correct alignment. This high quality and robust design is suited for material diameters from nearly 5mm to 30mm OD and is built in the German tradition of high quality. The ERS H model has the most common set up with one bank of rolls on one side of the material fixed while the rolls on the other side are adjustable for the best straightening results. This model is available in 5 rolls per unit. The ERS H model is most commonly used in wire applications but also can be used for tubing, cable and other materials.
We use the highest quality roller bearings and vee grooves are standard, but other profiles are available on customer request. We offer a number of roll type possibilities for specific applications to tailor to unique demands including sleeved rolls with outer rings in different materials like stainless steel, PET plastic and hardened steel. There are many options available and one of the more valued is the digital roller position indicators that substantially reduce set up time.
