The DW model is built for demanding applications where high speed and loads are encountered and is built in the German tradition of high quality.

This straightener suits a wide variety of applications including tire cord manufacturing and is available in single, double or more planes with an easily added base plate. This high quality and robust design is suited for material diameters from nearly 0mm to 1.5mm OD in four different sizes.

The DW model has a unique roller cassette feature where the roll function and roller bearings are segregated for great straightening results and long roll life.

This model is available in 13 rolls per unit and utilizes a quick opening mechanism of the scissor type which eases the stringing up of material. It is most commonly used in wire applications but also can be used for tubing, cable and other materials.

Witels Albert uses the highest quality roller bearings, hardened sleeves and vee grooves are standard, other profiles are available on customer request. We offer a number of roll type possibilities for specific applications to tailor to unique demands including sleeved rolls of different materials. There are many options available and one of the more valued is the digital roller position indicators that substantially reduce set up time.
